GHS Spring Musical "Mary Poppins"

Summer Trades Institute

This summer, students entering grades 10-12 during the 2018-19 school year will have the opportunity to spend a day at each of five participating training centers including: carpentry, masonry and brick laying, plumbing, steam fitting and electrical.  This institute will be offered June 18 - 22 from 8:30 to 3:00.  the program will teach students about these careers, explain the education and training required to perform the jobs and offer hands on experiences for students to engage in real-world skills. 


If you and your child have an interest in this opportunity, please join us on Monday, April 23 at 6:00 p.m. in the Greenfield High School Library Media Center or on Thursday, April 26 at 6:00 p.m. in the Greendale High School Library.  Information will be shared about the great needs in these trades along with pathways to over 20 different trades represented through these five councils.  Tables with representatives from each trade will be present as well as applications which can be completed on site.
